Today Gregg’s launched their very own vegan sausage roll. This came with an array of different reactions.
But, do you know what?
I’ve had one and it was really good.
I won’t lie, I was a little shocked and I did have my doubts about it. But… it was lush. A beautifully cooked quorn sausage in Gregg’s very own puff pastry (I am assuming that must have been without the usual animal fat or butter).
Also, a further revelation…
I am not a vegan. And I thought it was good. Gregg’s sausage rolls are usually my go to snack for lunch. But, I thought, why not! And, I did not regret the decision for my meat-free, dairy-free, Gregg’s vegan sausage roll lunch.
